On July 29th from 11am to 8pm, Soulsational Festival will be celebrating music and wellness for its 7th year at Veterans Park in Bayville, NJ. This free community event will feature "live music, local health and wellness businesses and practitioners, giveaways, a silent auction, and lots of opportunities to give back and unite the Jersey Shore community." One of the event's live music acts is singer-songwriter/recording artist KEITH EGAN. Enjoy this interview with Keith, below:
What's your name, where are you from, where are you based now, and what do you do?
My name is Keith Egan, I'm from Tinton Falls, NJ, and I am a singer-songwriter/recording artist.
What's your background? What would you like people to know about you & your work?
I've been singing and playing guitar my whole life and making progress along the way. After starting to play gigs at the age of 13, I've played more and larger shows and have written more songs than before, leading to the recording of my first EP titled, Come Along, and my album that came out July 14th, The Best Is Yet To Come. I try to make positive music that's catchy and enjoyable for anyone and everyone. My songwriting has developed a lot, and I'm excited to keep going with it.
How did you hear about Soulsational? What can we expect to see/hear at the festival, and what are you personally most looking forward to?
I heard about Soulsational last year through some of my friends that played the event and knew through their pitch of positivity and acceptance that it was something I wanted to be a part of. I know the acts are going to be great from my experience hearing them, and I expect to hear a lot of uplifting and great songs from amazing artists.
