Barbwire Roses is an alternative rock power duo from Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Their influences include bands such as The White Stripes, Royal Blood, The Messenger Birds, The Black Keys, Cut Glass Kings, and many more.

Hammer Richman, the band's guitarist and frontman, originally made his debut as a solo artist in 2017 when he performed his first single “Glitch” to an enthusiastic crowd at his Middle School Talent Show. Since then he went on to release two albums grossing more than 1,000 minutes of listening time worldwide.

Drummer Max Stager made his debut performance on Halloween of 2014, performing “Werewolves of London”, “One Way or Another” and several others on stage with his first band at his high school. Since his first performance he has gone on to play many more shows and fundraisers along with making several recordings with other fellow musicians.

The band released their first single, "Human Divided", on October 31, 2019 are planning to release more great music down the road. Their motto is "If you're not having fun, you're not doing it right".
